I've never been what you would call obsessed about cleaning. If I go to someone else's home, I want to know that whatever surface I put my hand on will show signs of being cleaned in the last week or so. If they have animals, make that "the last day or so".
I'm not a clean freak but food crusted on things other than dishes in the sink really turns me off. With that having been said, I met the owner of a house cleaning company not long ago. Very nice woman who has a team of 6, and who has been in the business for 22 years. I wanted to see what her take was on Shaklee's cleaning products, so I asked her and her team to try them. I wanted her very honest opinion--do they stand up to what's currently available at Walmart/Costco/etc? She used them for a week and then we sat down together. She loved them all. What she liked the best--listen up if you don't like to drag things like this around your house--was the fact that you could use 1 product to replace about 5! She realized how much money she could save just by buying the one product (Basic H2). We like each other. We scheduled her to clean the floors and bathrooms in our home. Here's where I get to the "What is that SMELL?" part--she used, at my request, all of Shaklee products when she cleaned but the gal with her pulled out "Pledge"! For 3 years my nose has only know Shaklee cleaners in our home (when they are needed), so this smell from the past was an unwelcome visitor! I was kind and didn't rip the can from her hand, but did make it known that they were only to use our unscented cleaners. When you think about it, the only smell I want in my home is from fresh flowers on the table or fresh air in the windows. Clean doesn't have a smell. My two cats can attest to that! Carry on.
